2006 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
The follow-up to our 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon has a deep crimson color and a deliciously silky texture. Ink Grade vineyard on Howell Mountain provided 85% Cabernet Sauvignon with 13% Merlot from a cooler, southern valley Coombsville vineyard and 2% Cabernet from a higher altitude Mount Veeder vineyard. The result is a well structured, full-bodied, mouth filling wine that is balanced yet wonderfully complex.

2006 Santa Barbara County Syrah
From White Hawk Vineyard, a Santa Barbara vineyard born to produce world-class Syrah, the grapes, harvested mid-October, had good hang-time on their journey to lush ripeness. After an eleven day fermentation, the wine spent 20 months in 50% new French oak and was bottled on June 18, 2008. The wine is drinkable now, but should develop in bottle over the next two to four years. This wine embodies the character of Santa Barbara County Syrah at its best.

2005 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Our inaugural wine spent 22 months in medium toast French oak and an additional seven months in bottle before its release. The ultra-premium grapes were sourced from a Napa Valley vineyard perched high atop Pritchard Hill. Hand made with acute attention to detail, the wine drinks well now but should age well over the next four to six years. If you opt for now, we recommend decanting or at least airing before drinking. Production quantities are very limited.
